Jubilee Park

This Park is a favourite as a lover’s hangout in Jalpaiguri. Located on the spurs of the Teesta River’s left bank, the park is a great place to picnic and chill out within the city. The scenic beauty of the park and the cool brezze which blows from the nearby river makes Jubilee Park a refreshing place to rest and enjoy in the lap of nature. It is also a wonderful picnic spot for entire families. Enjoy the gorgeous and lush green natural environment that Jubilee Park offers with lovely views of the River Teesta.  Here you would definitely find water sports enthusiasts trying water sports like sailing, boating, kayaking, river-rafting and canoeing.   • Timings: Monday to Sunday- 7.00 A.M. to 8.00 P.M, same for public holidays.
  • Photography is allowed within the Park.
  • Water sports should be indulged only with professional supervision.
  • Children should be kept carefully at all times especially since the Park is close to the vast river body of Teesta.
  • Trash disposal bins should always be used. Please do not thrown or carry plastic bags/bottles inside the Park.

Teesta Udyan

This is another beautiful park within Jalpaiguri city. It is a children’s park situated on the banks of the River Karala in Jalpaiguri which intersects the town into two halves. Teesta Udyan had been constructed in the late 1980’s and falls under the West Bengal Forest Department. A good place for picnicking, this park provides a much needed break from city life.
Teesta Udyan has a beautiful artificial lake, children’s play ground, aquarium, deer park besides other entertainment facilities. Teesta Udyan sees the hosting of a flower exhibition every winter season within its grounds and becomes a great crowd puller during that event. So spend your leisure hours in the Teesta Udyan along or with families soaking in its verdant beauty.
